Left 4 dead video review!
Tonight I will put in some of the Video Reviews, but for now, here is my review for Left 4 Dead (Just got it last night....hard for me to stop playing so I can type this up for all you):
Left 4 Dead is one of those games you just HAVE to have a friend or two to play with. The main thing for Left 4 Dead is the Co-op, which supports up to 4 players, and is pretty intense! Seriously, if you have a headset, you are going to be screaming at everyone to, "Go left! Down the hall! Boomer! I hear a Witch so Flashlights Off!" and all sorts of your common gamer cries. :) Sure there are only 4 levels, but trust me, you will play this game for atleast another 2 years. If you have been playing Half-Life for the past couple years, then you probably will play this game even longer. Why? Because Valve introduced the "AI Director" in this game, which makes every game completely different! So what I'm trying to explain is that this "AI Director" randomizes the game based on your performance so far. For example, if you are being a god and haven't been touched once so far, the "AI Director" will either or do all of these maybe: Spawn in about 20 more zombies, remove weapons/ammo/health from spawn points, and could also be the reason you are experiencing so many Boss Zombies! What I recommend is just going "okay" rather than God-Like or Crap-Like. This way, you will get the weapons if you do this correctly, and you won't get too many zombies after your ass. May not be smart to let the zombies attack you, but that shouldn't matter, since you will be attacked almost always, unless you use cheats, so really, just play the game like normal and you should experience what is right for you. The game should last about 2 hours if you were to just go straight through it and didn't play any maps again, but I really don't recommend that! Also, DO NOT CHEAT at first! It ruins it! Remember: Stick together, or die alone! Enjoy the game, and leave a comment on what you think the game was to you. For me? I rate it a 9.5/10
Good: Fun, Enjoyable, Smart AI, AI Director, Maps aren't repetitive at all.
Cons: 4 maps, only a couple weapons.
